Maureen showed me her hairline today. It's insane, like it curves up and down and random places, so she hides it with her bangs.
My mom loves my hairline. I didn't know until around seventh grade when I wanted bangs and she said, "Oh no, honey! Your hairline is so pretty! Your forehead is clear. Everything else is.. well everything else is fine."
She didn't actually say that, but I envision it that way to be funny.
Here's another compliment. "Your confidence is inspiring."
Is that a compliment? It's basically "I'm inspired that you could be so confident with..you."
Also: "I am humbled that I was asked to speak after these women."
"Now that I've seen what these other women have done, I'm not as proud of being part of the lineup."
Humbled.
