If I decide to teach Earth Science, which is unlikely, but more likely than other professions, I guess it'll be my alternative to grad school. Teachers with master's degrees get higher salaries, so schools don't want them, because most are trying to cut on spending. But then again.. I'd definitely work to get into the private school loop, and they'd probably want someone with grad school experience.
