hopefully portland rocks yup k grumpy guss

I made my decision on Thursday night to head for Portland and everything went pretty speedily from there. I bought a ticket for the Greyhound which leaves today at 3:45pm, and I arrive tomorrow in Portland at 2:35pm. (WOO! Good thing my mp3 player broke in the beginning of the summer, because I get to spend 23 hours reading BOOKS.) Looks like the sales team up there is pretty awesome, the manager and the area president both have called me a few times to confirm details, etc, and both of them like me and ARE LIKEABLE; I'm living with my boy cousin Nicholi and Lauren for a few days, and I'm going to be hanging out with them a lot, and I'LL BE LIVING IN PORTLAND or Beaverton WHICH IS NEXT TO PORTLAND; socializing will be easy and convenient; and I'll make money, maybe even more than I'd be making here, seems so, andd... WELL... I'm EXCITED! Who's excited? Me. Yup.
Last night I went out with Rebecca and Brian and Matt and Nicole and Mia. It was one of the greatest nights I've had with them and it was definitely one of the highlights of my summer. Mia's really nice! Nicole's cool and a great conversationalist as always! Rebecca was my best friend last night, she sat next to me and linked arms and was so enthusiastic about Portland! Matt missed me and asked me why I was moving, we could have had such awesome adventures! Brian Bruegge is Brian Bruegge! I enjoyed them and we saw some really awesome and talented folk bands (Romulus, Organized Anarchy, Sleepy Owl) in THE SANCTUARY which is a beautiful venue in Santa Monica. Also, everyone was sincerely sad when they heard I'd be gone but eventually really excited for my move to Portland and several times over the night I heard, "YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE SUCH A GOOD TIME!"
